I’m not really a fan of Doctor Who. I don’t HATE it, I just haven’t sought out to watch more than a few episodes. “Blink,” “Time Crash,” “The Curse of Fatal Death,” and the 2009 Christmas Special are the only ones I can think of that I’ve made an effort to watch.

But there are alot of internet reviewers I follow with Doctor Who review shows, and I notice the Sixth Doctor isn’t very popular. And I feel bad for his actor Colin Baker. Imagine being an actor in the United Kingdom, cast to play the title character in the most popular show in your country and damn near the whole world… and be the Sixth Doctor.

Nash’s “Doctor Who: What the Fuck is Wrong With You?” video in particular spells out how badly the actor Colin Baker was screwed when he was cast to play The Doctor’s sixth incarnation.

And I was thinking… there have been crossovers between different eras of Doctor Who. What if one episode had the current incarnation of the Doctor meet with the Sixth Doctor. Current-Doctor treats Sixth like a standard fan of the series would, similar to how the Tenth Doctor acted in Time Crash when he met the Fifth. “Oh it’s YOU. Last time I met me it was Me #5. I wore a vegetable back then. Vegetables are cool. You wore… that thing.” It would slowly become apparent that the current incarnation of The Doctor looked back at their time as the Sixth Doctor, and hated, HATED, being him.

The reason why this would work would be Sixth would slowly (or quickly; whatever works) reject his treatment from Current. From this point onward Baker will be allowed to portray the Sixth Doctor as he originally intended, dark, moody. An anti-hero. Framed in-universe as being kinda pissed off at the way Current treats him.

EDIT: I have been made aware that the Sixth Doctor WAS portrayed as a dark anti-hero, I just assume not very well. Again, we can make that work.

The garish design of the Sixth Doctor’s outfit might need to be kept so that the character can be recognized, I personally have trouble recognizing faces and depend on other forms of visual identification, but given the rest of the series’ modernization of classic props the colors of his amazing techni-colored dream coat could be de-saturated to make them work better. A good designer can make any design work.

I know virtually nothing about the expanded universe of Doctor Who, not technically being a fan and all, but it seems like the character of the Sixth Doctor was redeemed in the eyes of the fans in books and audio dramas so it seems the franchise has access to writers capable of making the Sixth Doctor likeable. Bring them in for the actual plot of the episode. That way, fans of the show who ALSO don’t pay attention to the Expanded Universe, can ALSO have the sixth doctor redeemed for them.

Yeah so that’s all I got. Not being a fan of the show all I can come up with plot-wise is “um… Daleks?” If the BBC wants to use this idea they can free of charge if they just put me in the credits somewhere. Or whatever.

It doesn’t matter. Nothing you say matters. None of your reasonably backed arguments matter. What matters is that you are putting so much effort into defending the rights of bigots and their “innocent” friends and you are putting their rights over the person actually being hurt. When you bring up that being friends with bigots doesn’t mean that you yourself are bigots what you are telling me is that you value the friendship of a bigot over the friendship of the people they oppress. What you are telling me by instantly replying to any problem I have because of my gender identity with “Oh for fucks sake not this again” is that you are only concerned with how my problems affect you. You consider the hardships I have to deal with to be accepted in this world annoying. And the worst part is when you bring up that you are gay so you have to deal with things too, you are telling me that my problems do not matter because you’ve had similar experiences that you’ve already put past you, so I should be able to as well. Not everybody is as strong as you. Not everybody can deal with stress the same way. Everybody has their own limits. And mine were reached a long time ago.

But you’re right. Blocking people, especially people who technically did nothing wrong, is itself wrong. So I won’t do that. And I guess I won’t block you either. Blocking people on Twitter doesn’t solve anything.

CISPA, or “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act” is a bill to censor and ruin the internet. My method of protesting this idiotic piece of legislature is to not buy any of the material it was created to protect unless I feel it is safe to pirate them. Any company that would hurt everybody to protect itself from the actions of only some of those people does not deserve my money.

From now on when I have the desire to spend my own money on a movie or game, I will pirate it first. And then I will buy it. Immediately. I will not pirate something I have no intention of buying and I will not pirate something if I have no money. This is soley going to be a test of how afraid the company is of consumers. If something has been so thoroughly wiped from the internet that piracy is impossible, the company will not be receiving my money. If something is practically given away for free, it will be receiving as much money as it asks for,

As a show of good faith, I will be deleting all of the pirated content on my computer that I am not able to buy right now, and then I will buy the movie I watched illegally on Youtube during the SOPA Protest Twitter Blackout. I would not have seen this movie if not for the ability to do so for free because I had heard that it was terrible, but I actually liked it after seeing it and wanted to spend my money on it.

That movie is Fairly Odd Parents: Grow Up Timmy Turner, from Nickelodeon Viacom. The company who probably came up with this internet censorship nonsense. You owe a sale to piracy Viacom. Have fun killing it.

TL;DR if I feel safe watching a movie, I will buy it. CISPA does not make me feel safe.

I was walking through a snow covered forest when my house on a mountain started caving in. I ran back to see the house completely demolished. Lego pieces everywhere. Apparently the house was made of Lego. There were two kittens in the wreckage playing with the Lego. I told them “if you cats can’t share your land I’ll just build my house somewhere else.” The gray one said “k,” took a Lego off a semi-still standing wall in his paw, handed it to the black one, who then placed it on whatever they were building and then I woke up.

If you can’t accept that your opinions aren’t fact; that I am not the worst person alive just because I dare to have a different opinion than you, get the fuck out of my life. I don’t need to deal with this. I have enough problems in my life; I don’t need to have to worry about people going ballistic on me just because I think Pigmen as villagers would have been a good idea, or because I liked Party Rock Anthem, or because I’m actually excited to see John Lasetter direct a Star Wars movie. Tell me if this makes any sense… my computer hasn’t been able to access Wifi in months, possibly years, even though it was able to when I first bought it, but then suddenly it could again and I’ve been on that for a week. It started BSOD’ing constantly and I asked Twitter to help me figure out why because it’s hot and I can’t think and everything about computers is too complicated for me to read right now. So one of my friends decompiles the dumps for me and finds out that my Wifi Network Driver is the broken system file that’s causing the BSODs. Immediately after I find this out, my computer cuts out of Wifi like it thought “Oh, she found out about my prank, better stop now.”
